Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.01 a.m. on 29 April 2012 to 18 December 2014, the following sections of Tuen Mun Road will be subject to a temporary speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour to facilitate road works:-
(a) the section of Tuen Mun Road eastbound from a point about 850 metres east of its junction with Tsing Long Highway to its junction with Castle Peak Road - Tsuen Wan; and
(b) the section of Tuen Mun Road westbound from its junction with Tsuen Wan Road to a point about 2100 metres west of the same junction.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.
At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above sections of Tuen Mun Road will be temporarily rescinded.
