Temporary traffic and transport arrangements in Yau Ma Tei
Members of the public are advised that in connection with the construction of Guangzhou- Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. on 11, 17 May and 3 June 2012:
Road closures
The following road sections will be closed to all vehicular traffic:
(a) The slip road leading from West Kowloon Highway southbound to Road D1A (N).
(b) The section of Lin Cheung Road southbound between Lai Cheung Road and Road D1A (N).
(c) The slip road leading from West Kowloon Highway northbound to Road D1A (N).
Traffic diversions
(a) Vehicles from West Kowloon Highway and Lin Cheung Road southbound heading for Jordan Road eastbound will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound, Ferry Street southbound and Jordan Road eastbound.
(b) Vehicles from West Kowloon Highway and Lin Cheung Road southbound heading for Jordan Road westbound will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound, Ferry Street southbound, Canton Road southbound, Wui Cheung Road westbound, Road D1A(S) northbound, Road D3E westbound and Jordan Road westbound.
(c) Vehicles from West Kowloon Highway and Lin Cheung Road southbound heading for Tsim Sha Tsui will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound, Ferry Street southbound and Canton Road southbound.
Bus diversions
CTB routes N11 and N23 on West Kowloon Highway southbound heading for Kowloon East or Hong Kong Island will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound and Ferry Street southbound before resuming their normal routeings on Jordan Road eastbound.
Bus stop arrangement
The bus stop of CTB routes N11 and N23 on Jordan Road opposite to MTR Austin Station will be relocated to Ferry Street opposite to Man Wah Building.
Appropriate traffic aids will be erected on site to guide motorists. The bus companies will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
