TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in To Kwa Wan
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the construction of Shatin to Central Link, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 6.00 a.m. on 2 December 2012 for about 30 months:
A. Traffic Arrangements
Three traffic lanes of Ma Tau Wai Road between Chi Kiang Street and Sheung Heung Road will be closed and the remaining three lanes will be converted into one northbound and two southbound traffic.
B. Bus and GMB stops arrangements
The stops of the following bus and GMB routes will be rearranged (Please click here for latest revised arrangements)
Bus Routes
- KMB Route Nos. 5, 5A, 5P, 11, 11X, 14, 26, 28, 75X, 85, 85B, 93K and 297
- New World First Bus Route No. 796X
- Cross Harbour Route Nos. 101, 101R, 107, 108, 111 and 116
- Citybus Route Nos. A22, E23 and R22
GMB Routes
- Nos. 2, 2A, 7, 13, 28M, 105 and 105S
Appropriate traffic signs will be set up on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators concerned will display notices to advise passengers of the above bus and GMB stops arrangements. There may be traffic delay during the implementation of the above temporary traffic and transport arrangements. Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Members of the public are advised to plan their journey early and allow more travelling time. They should also pay attention to the latest traffic news broadcast on TV and radio.
