ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Hung Tai Road, Hung Shui Kiu

    In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 22 March 2013, the following section of roads will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

 (i) the northern kerbside lane of Hung Tai Road from its junction with the access road to Coronet Court to a point about 85 metres west of the same junction; and

 (ii) the southern kerbside lane of Hung Tai Road from its junction with the access road to Coronet Court to a point about 95 metres west of the same junction.

   Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

 (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

 (b) loading or unloading goods.

 The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
