                 Members of the public are advised that NWFB Route No. 19 (North Point Ferry Pier - Tai Hang Road) and CTB Route No. 8X (Siu Sai Wan (Island Resort) – Happy Valley (Lower)) will be reorganised with effect from 24 March 2013 (Sunday). 

 

                 The service of NWFB Route No. 19  will be replaced by CTB Route No.19 (Siu Sai Wan (Island Resort) – Tai Hang Road). The service details of CTB Route No. 19 are as follows:

Bus stops cancelled:

1. North Point Ferry Pier;

2. Tung Lo Wan Road opposite to Queen’s College;

3. Tung Lo Wan Road opposite to Chinese Recreation Club; and

4. Moreton Terrace before Causeway Road.

 

Bus stops added:

1. King’s Road outside Island Place;

2. King’s Road outside Metropole Building;

3. Causeway Road near Queen’s College; and

4. Causeway Road after Moreton Terrace.

 

Daily from 5.40 am to 10.30pm.

Bus stops cancelled:

1. Gloucester Road outside Victoria Park; and

2. Shu Kuk Street outside Sun Beam Theatre.

 

Bus stops added:

1. Causeway Road outside Victoria Park; and

2. King’s Road outside Max Share Centre.

                The timetable of CTB Route No. 8X (Siu Sai Wan (Island Resort) – Happy Valley (Lower)) will be adjusted and inter-timed with CTB Route No. 19 (Siu Sai Wan (Island Resort) – Tai Hang Road) so as to provide coordinated services between Siu Sai Wan, Chai Wan (via Chai Wan Road near Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital), North Point, Causeway Bay and Happy Valley (Lower).  The routeing and fare of CTB Route No. 8X remain unchanged.  The frequency of the coordinated services of CTB Route Nos. 8X and 19 between Siu Sai Wan (Island Resort) and Happy Valley (Lower) is as follows:-
