Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)

Extension of Temporary Restricted Zone in Luen Hing Street, Fanling

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 13 April 2013 to 12 October 2013, the eastern kerbside lane of Luen Hing Street from a point about 15 metres south of its junction with Wo Muk Road to a point about 65 metres south of the same junction will continue to be designated a restricted zone from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily to facilitate building construction works.

       Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

       (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

       (b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zone has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
