ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone on Kwai Wing Road, Kwai Chung

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 16 May  2013, the western kerbside lane of Kwai Wing Road from a point about 50 metres north of its junction with Kwai Sau Road to a point about 105 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily until 13 June 2013.

      Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

      (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

      (b)  loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
