ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone at Sai Yeung Choi Street South, Mong Kok

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 24 May 2013 to 6 July 2013, the eastern kerbside lane of Sai Yeung Choi Street South from its junction with Prince Edward Road West to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
