ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone at Shantung Street, Mong Kok

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 7 June 2013 to 6 July 2013, the northern kerbside lane of Shantung Street from its junction with Hak Po Street to a point about 50 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
