ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Extension of Temporary Restricted Zone on Tai Kok Tsui Road, Tai Kok Tsui

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 15 June 2013 to 8 August 2013, the western kerbside lane of Tai Kok Tsui Road from its junction with Chui Yu Road to a point about 55 metres south of the same junction will continue to be temporarily designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
