ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374) 

Extension of Temporary Restricted Zone at Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 18 June 2013 to 17 July 2013, the section of Tung Choi Street from its junction with Bute Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
