Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tuen Mun

 

Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the noise barrier construction works on Tuen Mun Road (Town Centre Section), the following temporary traffic and public transport arrangements will be implemented in Tuen Mun from 12.30 am to 5.30 am daily on 18 to 22 June 2013:

 

A)     Road Closure

The section of Tuen Fat Road between Tuen Lee Street and Tuen Mun Road southbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

 

B)     Traffic Diversion

Affected motorists on Tuen Fat Road heading for Tuen Mun Road southbound are advised to travel via Tuen Shing Street eastbound, Castle Peak Road southbound, Tuen Hing Road westbound.

 

C)        Public Transport Arrangements

(a)      The following GMB routes will be temporarily diverted:

Route	Direction	Temporary Diversion
GMB Route No. 606S	To Tsim Sha Tsui	via Tuen Shing Street eastbound, Castle Peak Road southbound and Tuen Hing Road westbound and resume to original routeing.

(b)     In connection with the above GMB diversion, the following stop will be suspended and temporarily provided:

Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. At the same time, the GMB operators will put up notices to advise passengers of the above temporary public transport arrangements.
