Transport Department Notice 

Temporary Closure of Fanling Highway, Tai Po

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the road works on Fanling Highway, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 2.00 am to 5.00 am on 21 June 2013.

        (I)    Road Closure

The section of Fanling Highway from its junction with Tolo Highway to a point about 1,050 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed.

        (II)  Traffic Diversion

During the road closure period,

1. vehicles on Tolo Highway northbound heading for Fanling (including KMB route no. N270, LW route no. N42A and GMB route no. 616S) will be diverted via slip road, Lam Kam Road Interchange and Tai Po Road - Tai Wo northbound.

2. vehicles on Fanling Highway southbound heading for Kowloon (including KMB route no. N270, LW route no. N42A and GMB route no. 616S) will be diverted via Tai Po Road - Tai Wo southbound, Lam Kam Road Interchange and slip road.

        Appropriate traffic aids will be provided on site to guide motorists.
