ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374) 

Restricted Zone in Tung Lok Street, Yuen Long 

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the eastern kerbside lane of Tung Lok Street from a point about 10 metres south of its junction with Yuen Long On Ning Road to a point on the northern kerbside of Fook Tak Street about 5 metres east of its junction with Tung Lok Street will be designated as restricted zone from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily with effect from 10.00 am on 11 October 2013.

      Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permit issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

            (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

      At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section a will be rescinded.
