Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones in Yau Ma Tei
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1) (b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 14 March 2014, the following road sections in Yau Ma Tei will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
- (a) the northern kerbside lane of Wylie Path from a point about 15 metres east of its junction with Wylie Road to a point about 45 metres east of the same junction;
- (b) the northern kerbside lane of Wylie Path from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with the unnamed access road leading from Wylie Path to King's Park Sports Ground to a point about 65 metres west of the same junction; and
- (c) the northern kerbside lane of Wylie Path from its junction with the unnamed access road leading from Wylie Path to King's Park Sports Ground to a point about 40 metres east of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
- (a) picking up or setting down passengers, or
- (b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
