Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374) 

Temporary Restricted Zone on Tai Tong Road, Yuen Long 

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the following road sections will be designated as a temporary restricted zone 24 hours daily with effect from 6.00 pm on 30 April 2014 to 6.00 pm on 30 July 2014:

　　(a) The westbound carriageway of Tai Tong Road from its junction with Kiu Hing Road to a point about 70 metres west of the same junction;

　　(b) The eastbound carriageway of Tai Tong Road from its junction with Kiu Hing Road to a point about 70 metres west of the same junction; and

　　(c) The section of Kiu Hing Road from its junction with Tai Tong Road to a point about 45 metres south of the same junction.

　　Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

　　(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

　　(b) loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
