ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)
Temporary Restricted Zones in Tai Kok Tsui
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 4 July 2014 to 25 July 2014, the following road sections in Tai Kok Tsui will be temporarily designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
- (a) the section of Ivy Street from its junction with Pine Street to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction;
- (b) the northern kerbside lane of Ivy Street from its junction with Pine Street to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
- (c) the southern kerbside lane of Ivy Street from its junction with Pine Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
- (d) the eastern kerbside lane of Pine Street from its junction with Ivy Street to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
- (e) the western kerbside lane of Pine Street from its junction with Ivy Street to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
- (f) the eastern kerbside lane of Pine Street from its junction with Ivy Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
- (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
- (b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
