ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone at Pak Hoi Street, Yau Ma Tei

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 July 2014 to 26 July 2014, the section of Pak Hoi Street from a point about 10 metres west of its junction with Chi Wo Street to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
