ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone at Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from the following periods, the section of Tung Choi Street from a point about 5 metres north of its junction with Fife Street to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

• (a)  from 10.00 am on 21 July 2014 to 25 July 2014; and
• (b)  from 10.00 am on 28 July 2014 to 1 August 2014.

          Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b)  loading or unloading goods.

          The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
