Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tai Wai

                Members of the public are advised that the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tai Wai from 10.00 am on 25 July 2014 to 10.00 am on 31 December 2014 to facilitate the carrying out of drainage works:

               A) Temporary Traffic Arrangements

              (a) Traffic re-routeing

              During the above period, the section of Hin Keng Street between Hin Tin Street and Keng Hau Lane will be converted from two-way traffic to one-way eastbound traffic.

 

              (b) Banning of turning movement

 

              (i) During the above period, all vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length will be prohibited from turning left from Fu Kin Street northbound onto Hin Keng Street.

 

             (ii) During the above period, all vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length will be prohibited from turning right from Fu Kin Street southbound onto Hin Keng Street.

 

            (iii) During the above period, all vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length will be prohibited from turning right from Hin Wo Lane onto Hin Keng Street.

 

           (iv) During the above period, all vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from the unnamed road connecting to Ka Keng Court onto Hin Keng Street.

 

           (v) During the above period, all vehicles will be prohibited from turning left from Keng Hau Lane onto Hin Keng Street.

 

          (c) Traffic diversion

 

          (i) During the above period, all vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length on Fu Kin Street northbound heading for Hin Keng Street will be diverted to travel via Tin Sam Street, Che Kung Miu Road and Hin Keng Street.

 

          (ii) During the above period, all vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length on Tin Sam Street westbound heading for Hin Keng Street via Fu Kin Street will be diverted to travel via Che Kung Miu Road and Hin Keng Street in lieu of Fu Kin Street.

 

         (iii) During the above period, affected vehicles on Hin Keng Street heading for Che Kung Miu Road will be diverted to travel via Fu Kin Street, Tin Sam Street and Che Kung Miu Road.

 

 

         B) Temporary Transport Arrangements

 

         During the above period, the following temporary bus and green mini-bus ("GMB") route diversions and temporary bus and GMB stop arrangements will be implemented:

         Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. The public transport operators concerned will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary transport arrangements. Members of the public are advised to plan their journey early and allow more travelling time.
