ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374) 

Temporary Restricted Zone in Po Lok Square, Yuen Long 

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the section of Po Lok Square from a point on its northern kerbside lane about 25 metres east of its junction with Ping Shun Street to a point on its southern kerbside lane about 40 metres east of the same junction will be designated as a temporary restricted zone 24 hours daily with effect from 10.00 am on 15 August 2014 to 6.00 pm on 28 November 2014.

　　Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

　　(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

　　(b) loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
