ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone on Yuen Long Kau Hui Road, Yuen Long

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the section of Yuen Long Kau Hui Road from a point about 180 metres south of its junction with Hong Yip Street to a point about 230 metres south of the same junction will be designated as a temporary restricted zone 24 hours daily with effect from 5.00 pm on 22 August 2014 to 5.00 pm on 21 November 2014.

　　Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

　　(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

　　(b) loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing temporary restricted zone on Yuen Long Kau Hiu Road as gazetted under G.N. 4315 of 2014 will be rescinded.
