Transport Department Notice
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1:30 am on 1 October 2014 (Wednesday) to 5:30 am on 3 October 2014 (Friday):
(A) Temporary Traffic Arrangements:
The slip road leading from Tsing Yi Road West to Cheung Tsing Highway (Airport bound) will be closed. Motorists in Tsing Yi heading for Airport, Lantau or Tuen Mun/ Yuen Long will have to divert via Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road and North West Tsing Yi Interchange.
(B) Diversion of Public Transport Services:
(I) Franchised Buses (on journeys to Airport, North Lantau and New Territories North)
(a) Long Win Bus (‘LWB’) Routes No. E31 (Tsuen Wan (Discovery Park) – Tung Chung (Yat Tung Estate Public Transport Terminus)), No. E32# (Kwai Fong Station – AsiaWorld Expo), No. E42 (Sha Tin (Pok Hong) – Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)) and No. N31 (Tsuen Wan (Discovery Park Bus Terminus) – Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)) will be diverted via Tsing Yi Road West, Ching Hong Road, Chung Mei Road, Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road, Fung Shue Wo Road, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road and North West Tsing Yi Interchange before resuming their original routeings.
The existing bus stop on Tsing Yi Road West outside Ching Wah Court will be suspended. Temporary bus stop will be set up on Ching Hong Road outside Hong Shun House.

(b) LWB Route No. A31 (Tsuen Wan West Railway Station Public Transport Interhcange to Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)) and No. E32*(Kwai Fong Station – Asia World Expo) will be diverted via Ching Hong Road, Tsing Yi Road West, Fung Shue Wo Road, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road and North West Tsing Yi Interchange before resuming their original routeings.
The existing bus stop on Tsing Yi Road West outside Ching Wah Court will be suspended.
* Applicable between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm daily
(c) Citybus Routes No. E21 (Tai Kok Tsui (Island Harbourview) Bus Terminus - AsiaWorld Expo), No. N21 (Star Ferry - Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)) and No. N21A (Star Ferry - Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)) will be diverted via Tsing Yi Road West, Liu To Road, turnaround at Hang Mei Street, Liu To Road, Tsing Yi Road West, Fung Shue Wo Road, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road and North West Tsing Yi Interchange before resuming their original routeings.
The existing bus stop for these routes on Tsing Yi Road West outside Ching Wah Court will be suspended. Temporary bus stop will be set up on Liu To Road outside Mount Haven.
(d) Kowloon Motor Bus Routes No. 264M (Tin Yan Estate – Tsing Yi Station) and No. 279X (Luen Wo Hui – Tsing Yi Station) will be diverted via Tsing Yi Road West, Ching Hong Road, Cheung Hong Bus Terminus, Ching Hong Road, Tsing Yi Road West, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road and North West Tsing Yi Interchange before resuming their original routeings.
Temporary bus stop will be set up at Cheung Hong Bus Terminus.
(II) New Territories Green Minibuses (‘NT GMB’) (on journeys to Tsing Lung Tau and Tuen Mun)
NT GMB Route No. 308M (Tsing Yi Station - Sea Crest Villa) and NT GMB Route No. 140M (Tsing Yi Station - Tuen Mun (Hanford Garden)) will be diverted via Tsing Yi Road West, Ching Hong Road, Chung Mei Road, Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road, Fung Shue Wo Road, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road and North West Tsing Yi Interchange before resuming their original routeings.
Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience when approaching the above road sections. Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Notices will be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
