Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone on Carnarvon Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1) (b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from the following periods, the section of Carnarvon Road from its junction with Hanoi Road to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily:-

• (a) from 10.00 am on 20 October 2014 to 23 October 2014; and
• (b) from 10.00 am on 27 October 2014 to 30 October 2014.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers, or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
