ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Restricted Zone on Hoi Fan Road, Tai Kok Tsui

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 28 November 2014, the eastern kerbside lane of Hoi Fan Road from a point about 90 metres south of its junction with Hoi Fai Road to a point about 370 metres south of the same junction (excluding the layby, disable parking spaces, motorcycle parking spaces and taxi stand) will be designated a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.

      Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

      At the same time, the existing restricted zone from 8.00 am to 10.00 am and 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm on the above road sections will be rescinded.
