ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone at Lime Street, Tai Kok Tsui

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 30 January 2015 to 14 February 2015, the section of Lime Street from its junction with Fuk Tsun Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

      Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

      At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
