ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Prohibited Zone for vehicles exceeding 12 metres in length on Prince Edward Road East, Wong Tai Sin

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 30 January 2015, the flyover leading from Prince Edward Road East eastbound to Concorde Road and Eastern Road will be designated a prohibited zone 24 hours daily for all motor vehicles exceeding 12 metres in length.

     Drivers of all motor vehicles exceeding 12 metres in length, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles into the prohibited zone.

     The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.

     At the same time, the designation of prohibited zone 24 hours daily for all motor vehicles exceeding 10 metres in length on the above mentioned road sections as gazetted on 20 December 1991 under G.N. 4558 will be rescinded.
