Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Tram Track Renewal Works

at Percival Street, Causeway Bay

 

Notice is hereby given that the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 9.00 am on 26 November 2015 to 12.00 noon on 2 December 2015 to facilitate the tram track renewal works at Percival Street in Causeway Bay:

 

(a)             Road Closure

 

                                               The middle lane of Percival Street from its junction with Foo Ming Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic except trams.

 

(b)             Temporary Restricted Zone

 

 The western kerbside lane of Percival Street from its junction with Foo Ming Street to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

 

(c)             Temporary Prohibited Zones

 

 Pak Sha Road and the section of Lee Garden Road between Kai Chiu Road and Lan Fong Road will be temporarily designated as prohibited zones for vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length 24 hours daily.

 

(d)           Traffic Diversion

 

(i)           Vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length on Lan Fong Road heading for Percival Street will be diverted via Lee Garden Road southbound, Hysan Avenue eastbound, Hoi Ping Road southbound, Leighton Road westbound, Morrison Hill Road northbound, Tin Lok Lane and Hennessy Road eastbound;

 

(ii)          Vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length on Yun Ping Road heading for Percival Street will be diverted via Kai Chiu Road, Lee Garden Road northbound, Hennessy Road westbound, Tonnochy Road northbound and Lockhart Road eastbound; and

 

(iii)         Vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length on Kai Chiu Road heading for Percival Street will be diverted via Lee Garden Road northbound, Hennessy Road westbound, Tonnochy Road northbound and Lockhart Road eastbound.

 

Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.
