ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone on Kwai Lok Street, Kwai Chung

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 29 March 2016, the section of Kwai Lok Street from its eastern junction with Kwai Hei Street to a point about 130 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily until 23 May 2016

Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods

The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs road marking.

At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above section of road will be rescinded
