Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tin Shui Wai


       Motorists are advised that to facilitate Kiu Cheong Road East HOS Development, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tin Shui Wai from 11.00 a.m. on 25 May 2016 until further notice:

(I) Temporary Traffic Arrangements

a. A section of Kiu Cheong Road from a point of 60 metres north of its junction with Kiu Fat Street will be temporarily converted to one-way southbound traffic;

b. a section of Kiu Fat Street from its junction with Kiu Cheong Road to a point of 180 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily converted to one-way eastbound traffic; and

c. temporary parking area (for authorized vehicles only) will be designated on Kiu Cheong Road and Kiu Fat Street for KMB and MTR buses.

(II) Temporary Public Transport Arrangements

The existing bus interchange near Ping Ha Road will be closed permanently with effective from 29 May 2016. The following arrangement will be made for bus routes as follows:

MTR bus route nos. K75, K75A, K75S and K76

a. The last stop of MTR bus route nos. K75, K75A, K75S and K76 on journeys to Tin Shui Wai West Rail Station will observe at Ping Ha Road eastbound near Tin Shing Court;

b. the first stop of MTR bus route nos. K75, K75A, K75S on journeys to Hung Shui Kiu will observe at Ping Ha Road northbound near Kiu Fat Street; and

c. the first stop of MTR bus route no. K76 on journey to Tin Heng Estate will observe at Ping Ha Road northbound opposite to Ping Shan Tin Shui Wai Swimming Pool.

KMB bus route no. 276P

d. the last stop of KMB route no. 276P on journey to Tin Shui Wai Station will observe at Ping Ha Road westbound near Tin Shing Court; and

e. the first stop of KMB route no. 276P on journey to Sheung Shui will observe at Ping Ha Road northbound near Kiu Fat Street.

The following GMB route will be diverted as follows:

GMB route no. 619

f. GMB route no. 619 on journey to Hung Shui Kiu (Hung Yuen Road) will be diverted via Hung Yuen Road, Hung Shui Kiu Tin Sam Road, Hung Shui Kiu Main Street, Castle Peak Road (Hung Shui Kiu), Hung Tin Road, Ping Ha Road, Kiu Fat Street westbound, Kiu Fat Street eastbound, Ping Ha Road, Hung Tin Road, Castle Peak Road (Hung Shui Kiu), Tin Ha Road, Hung Shui Kiu Tin Sam Road, Hung Shui Kiu Main Street, Hung Chi Road and Hung Yuen Road.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.  At the same time, the bus and GMB operators will put up notices at termini and inside buses and GMBs to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
