ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS

(CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)

Temporary Restricted Zone on Cheung Lung Street, Tsing Yi

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, (Chapter 374 sub. leg. G), I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 30 May 2016 to 06.00 p.m. on 12 August 2016, the section of Cheung Lung Street from a point about 18 metres west of its junction with Cheung Tat Road to a point about 70 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily.

      Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

      (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
      (b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
