ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)

Temporary Restricted Zone in Kwai Lok Street, Kwai Chung

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, (Chapter 374 sub. leg. G), I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 a.m. on 20 June 2016, the section of Kwai Lok Street from a point about 65 metres east of its western junction with Kwai Hei Street to a point about 160 meters east of the same junction will be temporarily designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily until 6:00 p.m. on 20 July 2016.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road marking.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
