Special Traffic Arrangement for Public Procession on 1 July 2016

     Members of the public are advised that a public procession will be held in Yau Tsim, Kowloon from around 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm on 1 July 2016 (Friday):-

     The parade will depart from Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui on the following routeing:-

     Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui (Starting Point), Canton Road southbound, Canton Road northbound, Jordan Road eastbound, Nathan Road northbound and Public Square Street Rest Garden (Finishing Point).

     ATTENTION AND APPEAL

     Actual implementation of the lane closures, traffic control and public transport diversions will be made by the Police at the time depending on the prevailing circumstances, traffic and crowd conditions in the areas.

     Members of the public who plan to go to the affected area are advised to plan their journey early, use alternative routes, and allow more traveling time to cater for unexpected delay.  Motorists are also advised to avoid driving to the affected areas. They should exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion, take heed of instruction given by the Police; and stay alert to the latest traffic news on radio and television.
