ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Public Light Bus Restricted Zone at Argyle Street, Mong Kok

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 17 July 2016, the existing 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily public light bus restricted zone on the southern kerbside lane of Argyle Street near Shanghai Street will be shortened for about 12 metres westward.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of public light buses, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
