Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate the water mains work, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 10.00 am on 1 August 2016 to 6.00 pm on 4 October 2016:
a) Banning of Turning Movements for all Vehicles
All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Shan Mei Street northbound to Fo Tan Bus Terminus (Shan Mei Street).
b) Traffic Diversions
Vehicles on Shan Mei Street northbound heading for Fo Tan Bus Terminus (Shan Mei Street) will be diverted via Fo Tan Road northbound, Sui Wo Road westbound, Shan Mei Street southbound.
c) Temporary Transport Arrangements
(i) During the above period, KMB route no. 85, NWFB route no. 798 and NT GMB route no. 481 on its journey to Fo Tan will be diverted via Fo Tan Road northbound, Sui Wo Road westbound, Shan Mei Street southbound before terminating at Fo Tan Bus Terminus (Shan Mei Street); and
(ii) During the above period, KMB route nos. 73A on its journey to Yu Chui Court and Wah Ming will be diverted via Fo Tan Road northbound, Sui Wo Road westbound, Shan Mei Street southbound before resuming its original routing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will displaye notices to advise passengers of the above temporary transport arrangements.
