TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tsz Wan Shan
           

     Notice is hereby given that in connection with the construction of Shatin to Central Link, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tsz Wan Shan from 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m. daily from 25 August 2016 to 31 August 2016:

     A. Temporary Road Closure

     The traffic lane of Sheung Fung Street (westbound) west of Wan Wah Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

     B. Banning of Goods Vehicles Turning Movements

     i. Goods vehicles will be temporarily banned from making left turn movements from Wai Wah Street (westbound) onto Wan Wah Street (southbound); and

     ii. Goods vehicles will be temporarily banned from making right turn movements from Tsz Oi Court Carpark onto Wan Wah Street (southbound).

     C. Traffic Diversions

     i. Affected vehicles on Wan Wah Street (southbound) heading for Shung Wah Street and Sheung Fung Street will be temporarily diverted via Wan Wah Street (southbound), Shung Wah Street (westbound) and Sheung Fung Street (northbound);

     ii. Affected goods vehicles on Wai Wah Street (westbound) heading for Shung Wah Street and Sheung Fung Street will be temporarily diverted via Wan Wah Street (northbound), Tsz Wan Shan Road (eastbound), Yuk Wah Street (westbound), Wan Wah Street (southbound), Shung Wah Street (westbound) and Sheung Fung Street (northbound); and

     iii. Affected goods vehicles on Wan Wah Street (southbound) heading for Shung Wah Street and Sheung Fung Street will be temporarily diverted via Wai Wah Street (eastbound), Tsz Wan Shan Road (eastbound), Yuk Wah Street (westbound), Wan Wah Street (southbound), Shung Wah Street (westbound) and Sheung Fung Street (northbound).

     D. Temporary GMB Route Diversion

     GMB route no. 37A heading to Wong Tai Sin Station will be temporarily diverted via Wan Wah Street (southbound) and Shung Wah Street (westbound) before resuming its normal routing on Sheung Fung Street (southbound).
   
     Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. The public transport operator will arrange publicity to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
