ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone in On Shun Street, Yuen Long

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the eastern kerbside lane of On Shun Street northbound from a point about 30 meters south of its junction with Yuen Long On Ning Road to a point about 70 metres south of the same junction will be designated as a temporary restricted zone 24 hours daily with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 15 September 2016 to 6.00 p.m. on 14 September 2017.

Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a)        picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)       loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
