ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zone on Tai Tong Road, Yuen Long

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the eastern kerbside lane of Tai Tong Road from a point about 30 metres north of its junction with Hung Min Court, to the northern kerbside lane of Hung Min Court from a point about 8 metres east of its junction with Tai Tong Road will be designated as restricted zone from 7.00 a.m. to 12.00 midnight daily with effect from 10:00 a.m. on 11 November 2016.

Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a)        picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)       loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
