Tai Tong Red Leaves Sightseeing Festive Season

 

             Members of the public are advised that visitors going to Tai Tong Shan Road will be increased due to red leaves sightseeing festive season. A surge of visitors is expected on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Members of the public are advised to make use of the following public transport services to visit Tai Tong area:

 

(i)                North-west Transit Service Area Feeder Bus Route K66 (Long Ping – Tai Tong); and

(ii)               Public Light Bus plying between Hung Min Court, Yuen Long and Tai Tong.

 

Other than the above regular services, special departures of Route K66 will be in operation on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from 3 December 2016 to 15 January 2017. The operating details of the above route are as follows:

 

 

(a)

The route is plying between Long Ping Station (near Long Ping Estate Yuet Ping House) and Tai Tong Shan Road (near Tai Tong Shan Road pavilion).

 

 

(b)

Operating period-

  •  On Saturdays:

The operating period is from 12.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. for Tai Tong bound service and from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. for Long Ping Station bound service at a headway of 15 minutes.

 

  •  On Sundays and Public Holidays:

The operating period is from 10.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. for Tai Tong bound service and from 1.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. for Long Ping Station bound service at a headway of 15 minutes.

The full fare is $4.6 per single journey for adult and $2.0 per single journey for child and senior citizen.

 

 

 

 

(d)

Tai Tong Shan Road Bus Stop (Long Ping bound) will be temporarily suspended during the provision of K66 special departures depart from Tai Tong Shan Road (near the pavilion), i.e. from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. on Sundays and Public Holidays for better crowd control.
