ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone on Yuen Long On Ning Road, Yuen Long

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the section of Yuen Long On Ning Road from a point about 10 metres east of its junction with Tung Lok Street to a point about 70 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily with effect from 10:00 a.m. on 3 January 2017 to 6:00 p.m. on 24 January 2017.

Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)        picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)       loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
