Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tai Po
to facilitate the Hong Kong Cycling Criterium Race - Series 3 

      Motorists are advised that to facilitate the Hong Kong Cycling Criterium Race - Series 3, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented during from 8.00 pm on 14 January 2017 (Saturday) to 2.00 pm on 15 January 2017 (Sunday):

      (I)   Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed:

1. Dai Shing Street eastbound and northbound;
2. Dai Cheong Street westbound; and
3. Dai Fat Street southbound between Dai Cheong Street and Dai Shing Street.

      (II)  Traffic Diversion

During the road closure period, vehicles on Dai Kwai Street southbound heading for Dai Fat Street will be diverted via Dai Kwai Street southbound, Dai Cheong Street westbound, Dai Shing Street southbound, Dai Shing Street westbound and Dai Fat Street northbound. 

      (III) Public Transport Services Arrangements

1. KMB route no. 72A (Tai Wai Station - Tai Po Industrial Estate) will be diverted via Dai Kwai Street northbound, Dai Fu Street westbound and Dai Fu Street southbound before resuming its normal routeing. The en-route stop at Dai Cheong Street will be temporarily suspended.

2. KMB route no. 265S (Tin Shui Wai Town Centre - Tai Po Industrial Estate) will be diverted via Dai Kwai Street northbound and Ting Kok Road westbound before resuming its normal routeing. The en-route stop at Dai Cheong Street will be temporarily suspended.

3. GMB route no. 26 (The Education University of Hong Kong - Bayshore Towers, Ma On Shan) will be diverted via Dai Fu Street westbound, Dai Fu Street southbound, and Dai Wang Street westbound before resuming its normal routeing. The en-route stops along Dai Kwai Street and Dai Cheong Street will be temporarily suspended.

      Appropriate traffic signs will be erected and police officers will be on site to guide the public. Notices will be displayed by the bus and GMB companies to inform passengers of the above arrangements.
