ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Temporary Restricted Zones on Bedford Road, Tai Kok Tsui

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from the following periods, the following sections on Bedford Road will be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

• (a) From 8.00 am to 11.59 pm on 27 February 2017, the northern kerbside lane of Bedford Road between Lime Street and Fir Street; and
• (b) From 8.00 am to 11.59 pm on 28 February 2017, the southern kerbside lane of Bedford Road between Lime Street and Fir Street.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
