Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Pak Shek Kok, Tai Po
to facilitate the Hong Kong Road Cycling Race - Series 6 

      Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the Hong Kong Road Cycling Race - Series 6, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 6.00 am to 11.00 am on 19 March 2017 (Sunday):

      (I)   Road Closure

1. the section of Chong San Road southbound between Fo Shing Road and Science Park Road will be temporarily closed; and

2. the section of Fo Yin Road between Chong San Road and Fo Hing Street will be temporarily closed.

      (II)  Traffic Diversion

During the road closure period,

1. vehicles on Chong San Road southbound heading for Science Park Road will be diverted via Fo Shing Road eastbound, Fo Chun Road northbound, Chong San Road northbound, roundabout, slip road, Tolo Highway southbound, slip road, roundabout and Science Park Road northbound.

2. vehicles on Science Park Road northbound heading for Fo Yin Road will be diverted via roundabout and Science Park West Avenue northbound.

      (III) Public Transport Services Arrangements

1. KMB routes no. 74D (Kau Lung Hang - Kwun Tong Ferry) and 272A (University Station - Pak Shek Kok (circular)) will be diverted and all en-route stops along Chong San Road southbound and Science Park Road southbound will be temporarily suspended.

2. LW route no. A47X (Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) bound) will be diverted and en-route stops along Chong San Road southbound between Fo Shing Road and Science Park Road will be temporarily suspended.

3. GMB route no. 27A (Pak Shek Kok (Providence Bay) - Sha Tin (Pai Tau Street)) will be diverted and all en-route stops along Chong San Road southbound and Science Park Road southbound will be temporarily suspended.

      Drivers of all motor vehicles, except emergency vehicles and those authorised by police officers on site, will be prohibited from driving into the above closed roads.

      Appropriate traffic signs will be erected and police officers will be on site to guide the public.
