ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Temporary Restricted Zone in Wang Yip Street South, Yuen Long

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 27 March 2017 to 6.00 p.m. on 15 April 2017, the southern kerbside lane of Wang Yip Street South from its junction with Kwong Yip Street to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction will be designated as temporary restricted zone 24 hours daily.

Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a)        picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)       loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
