ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zone on Hoi Ting Road, Tai Kok Tsui

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 24 March 2017, the section of Hoi Ting Road from a point about 90 metres west of its northern junction with Hoi Wang Road to a point about 210 metres west of the same junction (excluding the lay-by outside Olympian City Two) will be designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

     Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

• (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
• (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
