Traffic Advice

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangement at
Tai Pak Tin Street and Tung Chi Street, Kwai Chung

       Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road repairing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented at Tai Pak Tin Street and Tung Chi Street, Kwai Chung from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily on 26 March 2017 and 2 April 2017:

(I)    Traffic Arrangements

- The left turn movement for all vehicles from Tai Pak Tin Street (northbound) onto Tung Chi Street will be temporarily banned.

- The right turn movement for all vehicles from Tai Pak Tin Street (southbound) onto Tung Chi Street will be temporarily banned.

(II)   Traffic Diversion

- Vehicles on Tai Pak Tin Street (northbound) heading for Tung Chi Street will be diverted to travel via Tai Pak Tin Street (northbound) and Lei Muk Road.

- Vehicles on Tai Pak Tin Street (southbound) heading for Tung Chi Street will be diverted to travel via Tai Pak Tin Street (southbound), On Chit Lane (northbound), On Chit Street (westbound), Tai Pak Tin Street (northbound) and Lei Muk Road.

(III)  Public Transport Services Arrangements

- KMB route no. 35A (On Yam bound) will be diverted to travel via Tai Pak Tin Street (northbound), Lei Muk Road and Tung Chi Street (eastbound) before resuming its normal routeing at Shek Yam Road.

- GMB route no. 401 (Shek Yam bound) will be diverted to travel via Tai Pak Tin Street (northbound), Lei Muk Road and Tung Chi Street (eastbound) before resuming its normal routeing at Shek Yam Road. 

        Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.  The public transport service operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
