Extension of Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Wong Tai Sin

     Motorists are advised that in connection with the construction of Shatin to Central Link, the following temporary traffic arrangements will continue to be implemented on the access road linking Wong Tai Sin Road and Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple (“Wong Tai Sin Temple access road”) from 9.00 am on 18 July 2017 to 9.00 am on 5 September 2017:

     A. Temporary Banning of Vehicular Movements

     1. All vehicles on Wong Tai Sin Road (eastbound) will continue to be temporarily prohibited from right turning onto Wong Tai Sin Temple access road (southbound); and
   
     2. All vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length on Wong Tai Sin Temple access road (northbound) will continue to be temporarily prohibited from left turning onto Wong Tai Sin Road (westbound).

     B. Temporary Traffic Diversions

     1. All vehicles on Wong Tai Sin Road (eastbound) heading for Wong Tai Sin Temple access road (southbound) will continue to be diverted to travel via Shatin Pass Road (northbound), Ming Fung Street (eastbound), Sheung Fung Street (southbound), Fung Tak Road (westbound), Shatin Pass Road (northbound) and Wong Tai Sin Road (westbound); and

     2. All vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length on Wong Tai Sin Temple access road (northbound) heading for Wong Tai Sin Road (westbound) will continue to be diverted to travel via Wong Tai Sin Road (eastbound), Shatin Pass Road (northbound), Ming Fung Street (eastbound), Sheung Fung Street (southbound), Fung Tak Road (westbound), Shatin Pass Road (northbound) and Wong Tai Sin Road (westbound).

     Appropriate traffic signs have been provided on site to guide motorists.
