Traffic Advice

 

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Long Tin Road, Yuen Long

 

Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 9.30 pm to 5.00 am on the following day on 8, 9 and 10 August 2017:

 

I.    Traffic Arrangement

 

(a)    Road Closure

 

The slip road leading from Long Tin Road southbound to Yuen Long Highway eastbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic

 

(b)    Traffic Diversion

 

Affected motorists on Long Tin Road southbound heading for Yuen Long Highway eastbound will be diverted via Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Yuen Long Highway westbound, Tin Shui Wai West Interchange, Hung Tin Road northbound, Hung Chi Road eastbound, Hung Tin Road southbound, slip road and Yuen Long Highway eastbound

 

II.    Public Transport Arrangement

 

(a)    Bus Diversion

 

(i)     KMB Route Nos. 69M, 69X, 265B, 265M, 269B, 269C, 269M (Tsuen Wan / Kowloon Bound); KMB Route Nos. 276A, 276B (Sheung Shui Bound) and LWB Route No. E34A (Airport Bound) will be diverted via Long Tin Road southbound, Wang Tat Road eastbound, Long Yip Street eastbound, Castle Peak Road - Yuen Long eastbound and Pok Oi Interchange, and then resume their original routeings; 

 

(ii)    CTB Route No. 967 (Hong Kong Bound) will be diverted via Tin Shing Road southbound, Tin Fuk Road westbound, Ping Ha Road westbound, Hung Tin Road southbound, Tin Shui Wai West Interchange and Yuen Long Highway eastbound, and then resume its original routeing; and 

 

(iii)   CTB Route Nos. 969, N969 (Hong Kong Bound) will be diverted via Tin Yiu Road southbound, Ping Ha Road westbound, Hung Tin Road southbound, Tin Shui Wai West Interchange and Yuen Long Highway eastbound, and then resume their original routeings;

 

(b)    Bus Stop Arrangement

 

The bus stop of CTB Route No. 969, N969 at Tin Fuk Road outside Tin Yau Court will be temporarily relocated to Ping Ha Road opposite Tin Shing Court.

 

                    Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will put up notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
