ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Victoria Road and Sandy Bay Road, Pokfulam

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374), I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 September 2017, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the southern kerbside lane of Victoria Road from a point about 35 metres east of its eastern junction with Sandy Bay Road to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction;

(b) the western kerbside lane of Sandy Bay Road from its eastern junction with Victoria Road to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction; and

(c) the eastern kerbside lane of Sandy Bay Road from its eastern junction with Victoria Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road sections will be rescinded.
