Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)

Restricted Zones in Fui Yiu Kok Street and Wang Lung Street, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 22 September 2017, the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the northern kerbside lane of Fui Yiu Kok Street from a point about 90 metres west of its junction with Wang Lung Street to a point about 230 metres west of the same junction;

(b) the northern kerbside lane of Fui Yiu Kok Street from its junction with Wang Lung Street to a point about 55 metres west of the same junction; and

(c) the western kerbside lane of Wang Lung Street from its junction with Fui Yiu Kok Street to a point about 60 metres south of its junction with Yeung Uk Road.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
